These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of aiclass.com.ng (the "Platform"), operated by AI Class ("we", "us"). By registering a school, enrolling a student, or purchasing a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
. Eligibility
- Schools must be legally recognised educational institutions in Nigeria.
- School administrators must be at least 8 years old and authorised to act on behalf of the school.
- Students under 8 may use the Platform only with verified parental consent obtained through our consent flow.
- Marketplace courses require an active subscription purchased by the student, a parent, or a school.
2. School accounts
- The school administrator is responsible for all activity under the school account.
- School administrators must ensure that all registered teachers and students are legitimate members of the school.
- School accounts must not be shared outside the school's staff.
- We may suspend or terminate a school account for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these Terms.
3. Subscriptions and payment
3. School Mode subscription
- Minimum subscription is 4 months.
- After the minimum period, the subscription renews month-to-month unless cancelled.
- Fees are set by AI Class and published on the school dashboard.
- Payments are processed via Paystack.
3.2 Student tokens
- Schools purchase tokens in batches. Tokens are bound to the purchasing school and cannot be transferred.
- Schools collect payment from students themselves; AI Class does not collect student payments for tokens.
- Tokens activate for 30 days from the first login. Unused tokens do not expire.
3.3 Marketplace courses
- Each course has three levels (Basic, Intermediate, Professional), priced separately.
- Payment is per level, per month, via Paystack.
- Course content is available only while the level subscription is active.
- Students must pass a level to unlock the next.
3.4 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by Nigerian law or where the Platform has failed to deliver the service. Requests should be sent to billing@aiclass.com.ng.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with anyone
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other users' data
- Upload malicious code or content
- Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Submit course requests for illegal, immoral, or harmful content
- Use the coding lab to develop malware, viruses, or code intended to harm
- Attempt to circumvent daily learning limits, token school-binding, or subscription controls
5. Content and intellectual property
5. Our content
All AI-generated lessons, assessments, courses, and certificates are the property of AI Class. You may use them for personal or classroom learning but may not redistribute, resell, or republish them without written permission.
5.2 Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (questions, code, project files). By submitting content, you grant AI Class a licence to process it for the purpose of delivering the service, including sending it to our AI providers for processing.
5.3 Certificates
Certificates are issued by AI Class, not by schools. They certify completion of a specific AI-taught course level. They are not accredited academic qualifications and do not replace WAEC, NECO, or JAMB results.
6. Student conduct and moderation
- Classroom questions are moderated by AI for appropriateness and relevance.
- Students who submit inappropriate content three times in a session are muted for that session.
- Repeated abuse across sessions may result in account suspension.
7. AI limitations
Our AI tutors are tools, not human teachers. AI can make mistakes. You should:
- Verify critical facts with your teacher or textbook
- Report inaccurate AI responses using the feedback option on each lesson
- Not rely on AI-generated content for decisions with legal, medical, or financial consequences
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or updates. We are not liable for interruptions caused by your internet connection, power supply, or third-party services (Paystack, OpenAI, Google Cloud).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, AI Class is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
0. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms.
- Schools may cancel their subscription at any time after the minimum period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
- Students who have ever had a token retain permanent dashboard access to their certificates and progress, even if their school leaves the Platform.
. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 4 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
2. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, unless otherwise required by law.
